Patches of Okiciyapi Lodge 56

The Okiciyapi Lodge was based in Sherman, Texas. It was originally chartered in 1930 as part of the old Red River Valley Council. The lodge was disbanded in 1934. It was re-chartered in 1949 and was part of the Sherman Area Council, which later became the Texoma Valley Council. In 1995, the council merged with Circle Ten Council of Dallas, and the lodge merged with Mikanakawa Lodge 101. The Okiciyapi name lives on, however, as a very active chapter of Mikanakawa Lodge. Okiciyapi means "helping each other."

Below are the lodge's flaps from 1949 until 1994.
