Wood Badge is the premier training program for all Scout leaders in the Boy Scouts of America. This includes Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity, and Venturing Leaders; District and Council Officers and Committee Members; as well as Professional Scouters. Wood Badge is designed to train adults using the latest leadership skills and techniques.

Troop 1776 has had a long-standing commitment to the Wood Badge program. By completing Wood Badge training, the leaders of Troop 1776 are better prepared to deliver an outstanding program to the Scouts.
